The Toronto Catastrophe Slam is just one of the events part of Digifest 2008.
The Slam is being held at the Ontario Science Centre, Sunday, March 30 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
This will be a closed event with a cap of 70 people, involving Toronto students, teachers, and professionals in the field as well as representatives from the public sector. The purpose of this event is to exchange knowledge and ideas on the topic of catastrophe, disaster and emergency. This is a rare multidisciplinary engagement that will include informative keynotes and participatory challenges that will be designed to examine natural disaster, health and security crisis scenarios specific to Toronto.
